It's January, Already

Where has the time gone. We rang in the new year with friends and other like-minded two-year-olds who couldn't imagine going to sleep before watching the ball drop on TV. These kids have stamina.

We're settled back into a post-holiday routine, Belle is back at school and mommy is still organizing the house -- the never ending project. Here are a few snap shots from the first 10 days of January.

Annabelle has really developed an imagination. Here she is on a "boat". She wants me to ride on the boat with her and she says things like "Mommy, watch for whales" and "Mommy, it's wavy" -- not sure where she gets this from.

Belle is also into art. We've already started making our valentines. It's a great way to keep Belle busy for long periods of time. And our wall of art projects is constantly growing and changing to fit more prized pieces.

Annabelle is a budding "chef", her stirring skills are impressive. The gingerbread house is still sitting on my kitchen counter, Belle won't let me toss it, she is so proud of it.

And she loves showing her friends how to use the iPod Touch.

The Spy Cam, how I love thee. We had this installed during construction; viewable on the TV (photo taken of the TV with my phone). Here is the image of Belle playing so wonderfully in the basement by herself... she just managed to make her way down there and set up her farm. If only it will be this easy when the new baby arrives.

She's still climbing and getting into things.

It's been a full January and we look forward to a very full and eventful 2011.
