One of the best parts of being a stay-at-home mother is getting to volunteer at school and join in on Field Trip Day. We went to James Madison High School to see their Tiny Tots Christmas program. Annabelle was so excited (although not looking so much in this photo) that I was going with. She talked about it all week, and even wanted to sit by me on the bus. Well, on the bus ride there, then she was comfortable with bus rides and choose to sit three-to-a-seat with her friends. For some reason, toddlers love cramming in together... no personal space necessity for Annabelle and her besties at school.
The concert itself was a huge band concert, complete with visitors from the North Pole and friends like Elmo, Big Bird, Dora, Frosty, etc.
Here is a quick shot of the group waiting to board the bus. The whole class wore matching scarves so we could spot them and keep them together.
