Kyle and I escaped for a long weekend away in sunny Mexico. Warm sun, beautiful beaches, swim-up bar, an amazing spa, heavenly.
Love walking out of the airport and being greeted with our name on a sign, our private transportation to the resort.
The resort is amazing.... I have never heard the words "my pleasure" so many times before... the photos below are of the swim up bar -- ready to go by 8:00 am every morning; cabanas on the beach with deck flooring (no sand, but still on the beach -- love it) with huge lounge beds (also serve as private dinners at night); the infinity pool; and the view from our room. Ahhhh... a much needed break from reality.
While walking on the beach, we stumbled by a little surfing photo opt.
What a treat to be served drinks from the mobile "surf board" bar. Our friends Jen and Dina vacationed with us and were our partners-in-crime at the swim-up bar. Even a few showers the morning we departed didn't deter us from a blended drink in the pool. I was loving the lounge chairs in the water and the mimosas at breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was enjoyed overlooking the infinity pool and ocean -- the crisp quiet morning (with coffee and mimosa) was my favorite time of day.
Of course a quick shot of us one evening before dinner. All photos taken with my iPhone since we didn't even bring a camera. We had a wonderful time, now, back to reality.
