Mini-Milestones This Week

Annabelle is touching her toes...

smiling big and wide... learning to sit-up...
and holding her own bottle when it gets light enough ...
Belle is also scooting a little - but backwards. She gets on her tummy and then scoots back. She hasn't figured out how to go forward yet and she doesn't like to roll over from tummy to back, so when she gets sick of being on her tummy, she gets very frustrated. I have been trying to teach her to roll over to her back, but she doesn't seem that interested.

Belle is proficient in pulling out and replacing her pacifier, and even reaching for it and putting it in her mouth, which is fun to watch. She is putting everything she can in her mouth.

Belle started rice cereal and is doing very well. The first couple days she wasn't sure what to think, but now I think she is getting the hang of it. Last night she wanted to feed herself, using the spoon....I cringed. It is way too early for her to start being "independent" -- she might be my baby after all:-).
