Kyle and I spent two relaxing nights in New Orleans while Belle enjoyed some one-on-one time with Grammie and Grandad Jefcoat in Hattiesburg. We ventured to New Orleans for Kyle's friend Matt's wedding. What a wonderful wedding and great to be in New Orleans again. Here we are with Kyle's high school buddies. Friday night Kyle made reservations at this amazing little restaurant called Lillet in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans (thanks to Matt for the recommendation). There were probably only 15 tables in the whole place. Kyle had special flowers at the table when we arrived - nice touch hubby. The food was amazing, melt in your mouth until the very last bite.
A trip to New Orleans wouldn't be complete with out a trip to Cafe Du Monde for Beignets. We strolled through the Quarter Sunday morning on our way to Cafe Du Monde where we enjoyed a cafe au lait and beignets for breakfast. What a wonderful trip.
