Annabelle's Update

For some reason we've had a very busy couple weeks and the blogging has taken a back seat. So, to get you caught up I have one massive post, hold on...here we go.

A couple weeks ago we had a great play date in the city with Belle's friends Izzy and Connor. They are 2 1/2 and the most well behaved children I have ever seen. Their mom Jen is so good with them. She works part-time and is a full-time mom, very busy woman. When we get a few hours together it is so nice to catch up. Here are Belle and Connor in the stroller and Izzy walking like a big girl with her movie star shades.

Belle broke the sealant off her tooth, and we were back at the dentist. Then two days later back at the dentist again because it didn't stick. Belle is getting to the point where she is not fond of that place. The last time it took three nurses and me to hold her down while the dentist applied a filling-type sealant on her tooth. Because it was a different bonding agent, she had to be still longer and the tooth had to be very dry -- which was challenging as she was biting and spitting and squirming like crazy. We are optimistic this bonding agent will stick. One tooth has turned gray, but it's not dead yet, so we are crossing our fingers that she'll be able to keep her teeth until they fall out naturally.

We met our little buddy Taffe at the neighborhood park the other day and enjoyed the merry go round.

Derby Party
Kyle and I had a adults night out and went to a fantastic derby party. Here we are all decked out and ready to go.

Happy Cinco de Mayo

We met our friends Marcela and Emmelina for lunch at Rio Grande to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. The mommies enjoyed margaritas while the girls loved the chips and guacamole.

Mother's Day
Mother's Day was relaxing and just what we needed. Belle and I spent the entire day in our jammies. We played and Kyle took care of everything around the house, no cooking, cleaning, chores, nothing but fun.

Well I think that about catches you up with Belle's fun activities these last few weeks.
