My mom organized a trip to Kansas City with me and Angie. What a great idea.... we'd tried to do this a few times before, but one of us got pregnant or something else always came up. This time, no kids, lots of alcohol and plenty of relaxing. I flew in Friday early morning and my mom and Angie drove down. We stayed at this amazing hotel on the Plaza, highly recommend for anyone visiting KC. We window shopped, had margaritas for lunch, martinis with our afternoon snack and great bottles of wine with dinner. We laid around the room (which had a huge living room) in fluffy bathrobes, sipping drinks and watching the oldie-but-goodie girly movies that happened to be on TV. What a great way to spend some quality time with the girls. Thanks mom for a great trip.
