Belle got her first taste of Minnesota tornado season. Nasty weather rolled through Thursday early evening. We watched it rain, hail and then the calm. I'm a scardy cat, so Elizabeth, Dawson, Belle and I huddled in the basement watching the radar and trying not to get the kids too anxious. All in all, just bad weather, closest funnel cloud was 2 -plus miles away, but close enough for me. We spent a bit of time in the closet, but mostly just in the basement bedroom playing.
Not to worry...plenty of bear on hand. We needed something to calm the nerves:-).
