Annabelle is completely into Dora The Explorer these days. Last week we watched an episode about Dora visiting her Abuela (Grandma). Belle said to me "Abuela is just like Grandma Mary Kay" -- I was confused (I didn't see the resemblance, I mean, with the gray hair and dark colored skin and all) -- I said "really, why do you say that"? Annabelle replied "because she sings and dances" -- of course this made perfect sense, why hadn't I thought of it before? My mom does have a tendency to dance in the kitchen (or anywhere for that matter) and loves singing a good song with the grandkids.
