While driving home from Sesame Place we decided to detour through Philadelphia to have an authentic cheesesteak sandwich. Pat’s and Geno’s are the famous competing vendors, located on opposite sides of the street. First we went to Pat’s “a whiz” was ordered -- steak, onions and yummy cheese-whiz. Apparently, the only way to eat a cheesesteak. It was good, Annabelle was our tasting judge, she approved. After enjoying the last bites, we thought, why just eat at one place? So, in a fleeting moment we found ourselves in line at neighboring, Geno's. “a whiz” was ordered again and enjoyed. We decided Geno’s was better, crispier onions and better meat -- at least on this day.
