Why is the Tupperware drawer more fun than any of the zillion toys?

And while we're on the subject, Cheerios off the floor?  Seriously, why does the baby throw the Cheerios on the floor -- as if he were done -- only to hop out of the highchair and immediately eat these same Cheerios as fast as he can?  What gives?
