We flew from Minnesota to New Orleans on Wednesday - and then drove to Hattiesburg which is about 2 hours from the airport, (which is on the opposite side of downtown New Orleans from Hattiesburg). Annabelle did very well on the flight. She ate a bottle on the way up and then slept on the decent. We have had a wonderful time in Mississippi. We visited Pat's office (Kyle's mom) twice and also visited Robert's office (Kyle's dad). They were so excited to show off their new little granddaughter. Kyle's mom hosted a "Sip And See" along with her friends and family on Saturday. There were at least 45 people through the house during a 2-hour time frame. Everyone was very generous and Annabelle was showered with very nice gifts. Sunday we went to brunch and drove about 30 miles up to Jones County (which Kyle refers to as the "home land") to see Kyle's grandparents (Robert's parents).Annabelle was spoiled at her grandparents - they played all the time. Boy is it going to be a reality check when we go back home.
