Annabelle is always doing new things. On Saturday (November 22nd), she said Mama for the first time without just babbling the sound mamamamama.... This is clearly Mama, but we're not sure that she was referring to me, so Kyle is insistent that it doesn't count and she hasn't spoken a word yet. I guess we'll have to wait a little while longer.
This past Monday (November 24th), Annabelle started to get mad when we took away the crackers she was playing with at lunch. This was the first time she had an opinion when we took something away from her. Usually she didn't mind and went on to the next thing, but now, if she is playing with something she gets mad when we move her or take it away from her.
As always, I had my camera in hand, and below is a photo of her "enjoying" her crackers.
And, she has been leaning and reaching for her mommy to pick her up, which has been very cute. For the past few weeks, she has noticed every time I enter and exit the room. Now, she watches me exit the room and begins to whimper.... I hope this is a very short faze.
She has been "talking" and "babbling" for quite some time now, but this past week she has learned to YELL and every time she wants to make a noise, it is a YELL... and it is loud. It has been particularly loud in the car, which has not been pleasant. She will not use her inside voice and she talks all the time.... maybe she will have some of her mommy's traits after all?
