Mommy's First Night Away From Belle

Mommy and her friend Elizabeth went to the Madonna Concert last Thursday, November 20th. Elizabeth has twin boys that are three weeks older than Annabelle and she and I made the leap together to leave our babies for the first time.

We drove to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (about 3 hours away) and stayed at the Westin. We ate dinner at this great restaurant where the chairs hung from the ceiling. We didn't have too many drinks because we already felt tipsy from the swaying chairs (they are not bolted to the floor).

Here we are at the concert. We had great seats, up about 17 rows from the floor section, so we could see great. The show was amazing - Madonna danced the entire time. Her show lasted about 2 hours, she played mostly her new music and her old music had a twist with her new style. Even though we would have enjoyed more oldies... it was an unbelievable show.

When I arrived home the next afternoon Belle was very happy to see her mommy!
