Snowed In --- Let It Snow (Part One)

Snowed in, listening to Christmas music, sipping eggnog (well, that's Kyle -- I am enjoying a wonderful red wine), watching it snow, and snow, and snow... last measurement on my deck was over 16 inches (no drift measurement either... I am from Minnesota). Belle loves playing in the snow, we've had a blast with her outside today. The temperature is moderate, so it is quite comfortable prancing around in all that white fluffy goodness.

Here is daddy and Belle watching it snow before bedtime.

One of Belle's favorite spots today was the chair by the window... she would let us know when a snow plow went by, since those were the only cars on the road...and even they were few and far between on the major roads we live near.

Like I said, eggnog for daddy, wine for mommy and a banana smoothie for baby -- she couldn't be left out of the snow party:). Note the pile of snow on the table outside.

And earlier in the day, some play time in the snow. Here is Belle trying to taste the snow flakes as they fall onto her tongue.

And last measurement at 6:00 tonight, my 15 inch ruler has drowned in the snow, safe to say 16+ inches, maybe?
