One night in Atlanta to see my dear friend Joy (currently living in Germany, but at a course in Montgomery AL - she's in the Air Force). We started the day off with lunch and margaritas. We drank two pitchers of margaritas (yes, we each drank one of these massive pitchers) and then napped at the hotel.
Dinner at a fabulous restaurant, Aria in the Buck Head neighborhood.
And then, off to see an 80's cover band. I bet Joy that we could get backstage at the first break...and yup, after being thrown the guitar pick in the middle of the first set we were backstage in no time. Here is Joy backstage with the band. (Photo is a little fuzzy, taken on my blackberry)
We closed down the bar at 3:00 am and felt a little run down in the morning, but it was well worth it. Such a fun night.
