Springtime, budding flowers and running toddlers

Belle and her "bestie" Luke enjoyed some outdoor time today at the Historical Society River Farms. What a beautiful place to roam around, play, and enjoy the views of the Potomac river with a picnic lunch. We visited this place last year too, when they were much smaller and didn't get away from you so fast.

These two children could not love each other any more, they had a blast today.

Their favorite part of the day was playing house in this adorable wooden playhouse.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, the glimmer in their eyes is worth something :).

Luke, how do you keep the "spark" alive, I think we saw a little twinkle last year too.

Belle was showing Luke some of her dance moves on a "stage" she discovered.
