The Queens Castle

Since the Royal Wedding and the influx of Princess movies, everything is Princesses and Castles around our house. Annabelle even pointed out our wedding photo and said that mommy was the Princess and daddy was the Prince. The other day I was telling Kyle that someone was "charming" on a TV show and Belle pipped up (I didn't even know she was listening) and said "oh no, that's not Prince Charming". She's is all princess right now.

So it is fitting that when we visit the annual National Cathedral Flower Mart, she is CONVINCED that she is seeing, right before her very eyes, the Queen's Castle. She walked inside and had to be quite because the Queen was sleeping upstairs, of course. What an imagination.

The flower mart is filled with activities for little ones. Emelina and Annabelle LOVED the ferris wheel. All by themselves, they hopped right in and never looked back.
Here they are at the top, waving to us through the cage. They couldn't be more excited.
The pint-size old-fashion carousel was also a huge hit. Ms. Marcela got to ride along while I stayed back with Quentin.
The flower mart also has a lot of shopping and our girls loved looking around at the vendors.
