Yesterday was Tourist Tuesday, so we joined Luke and Shiloh on an adventure to one of George Washington's home sites including his large farm in Northern Virginia (close to Mount Vernon, Washington's residence from the time he was married to his death). The "Farm" site is currently the home for the American Horticulture Association. The grounds were beautiful with lots of paths and even a walking trail down toward with Potomac river where we could catch a glimpse of Washington DC. It was a hot, but beautiful day. The children were not pleased with their hats, but we tried to keep them on as much as possible. Here are a few photos from our morning at George Washington's Farm.
