18 Month Well Baby Doctor Visit

This morning Kyle and I went to Belle's 18 month doctor's appointment. Guess what... she's tall and healthy... just what the mommy suspected.

Belle weighs 26.2 pounds (75%) and is 33 1/4 inches tall (90%) with a head circumference of 19 inches (90%). She has 16 teeth, including all of her eye teeth and 1-year molars. She's healthy, with good skin tone and is also doing well for cognitive ability (i.e. following two part commands, naming and pointing to body parts) and gross motor skills (i.e. climbing on everything, throwing balls, walking up and down stairs while holding on to a rail). She had one shot today, she cried just a bit after the injection, but was fine less than a minute later.

Yesterday we waiting in line for 3 hours to get Annabelle's H1N1 vaccine (part 1 of 2 for children under 6 years old). Luckily we waited with good (and patient) friends. Belle didn't last long in her stroller and wanted to run around (a busy dirty parking lot none the less)... thanks Shiloh for helping me wrangle in my little monster. It was drizzly and cool, but we managed -- note to self, next time bring coffee.
